What is the job’s DPO ?

the dpo job

To begin a little patience please because we can not talk about the DPO or DPD without talking about the GDPR.

On April 27, 2016, a new European regulation was published on the European General Regulation on Data Protection (GDPR) which will enter into force on May 25, 2018. Its purpose is to really change the way in which to manage the protection of data, notably by requiring companies to establish a true policy of governance of the legal compliance of the processing of personal data.

If you are also interested in learning more, you will find in the menu the tab on the GDPR otherwise we continue.

So what is the DPO ?

The DPO is an English term meaning Data Protection Officer whose correspondence in French is the DPD, Delegate for Data Protection. In short, it is the internal reference to the physical data protection policy. It must take action with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data that companies process through their activity
